The ADG1404YRUZ is a complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) Analog multiplexer manufactured by Analog Devices. Includes four single-channel designs on the iCMOS process. iCMOS (Industrial CMOS) is a modular manufacturing process that combines high voltage CMOS and bipolar technology. It makes possible the development of a wide range of high-performance analog ics with a power of 33 V. Operating voltage devices is achieved without the high footprint of the previous generation. Unlike CMOS processes using traditional analog ics, iCMOS components can withstand high power supply voltages while significantly improving performance and reducing power consumption and package size.
The ADG1404YRUZ's on-resistance curve is very flat across the entire analog input range, ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. The ADG1404 switches one of the four inputs to the common output D based on the address determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and EN. When the EN pin is logical 0, the device is disabled. When switched on, the electrical conductivity of each switch is the same in both directions, and the input signal range can be extended to the supply voltage range. In the disconnected condition, the signal level reaching the supply voltage is blocked. All switches are open before closing. The design itself has a low charge injection feature, allowing for small transients when switching digital inputs.
In addition, the product has a maximum on-resistance of 1.8 ohms and a voltage range of 5V to 16.5V. It has a charge injection of -20pC and a package size of 14-TSSOP. The ADG1404 also has a low charge injection feature that allows for small transients when switching digital inputs.
