Description

The CC2590R-F V2 is a low-power radio system with Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4, and Thread protocol support. It has a built-in 2.4GHz transceiver, a high-performance low-power 8051 microcontroller, and an RF front end for Zigbee/Thread/IEEE 802.15.4.


The CC2590R-F V2 has the following main features:


2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4, Zigbee and Thread compatible

High-performance 8051 microcontroller

Efficient RF performance, including low noise amplifiers (LNA) and power amplifiers (PA)

RF front end for Zigbee/Thread/IEEE 802.15.4

Optional crystal oscillator with frequency of 32MHz or 48MHz

Optional Serial Programming interface (SPI) or I2C interface

Optional AES encryption/decryption accelerator

Optional AES encryption/decryption accelerator

The built-in AES encryption/decryption accelerator supports the AES encryption/decryption algorithm in the Zigbee Pro Security Suite (ZPS) standard

The hardware supports AES-ECB, AES-CBC, AES-CTR, AES-CCM and AES-GCM modes

The hardware supports all encryption/decryption algorithms in the Zigbee Pro Security Suite (ZPS) standard
